Questions that come up in the first technical conversation, answered here so you do not have to book one to find out.
Evaluating the product
- Can I evaluate a terminal without downloading a datasheet?
- Yes, and that is deliberate. Every specification, dimension, pinout and standards reference is on the model page, rendered from the same data the datasheet is generated from. If something is missing from the page, tell us — that is a defect, not a gate.
- Why does the wireless specification say "available on request"?
- Because LTE bands and GNSS constellations differ by market, and our export configuration has not been confirmed in writing by our development team yet. We could print a plausible-looking frequency list. We will not, because an engineer might design against it. Ask us and we will confirm the exact bands for your country.
- Do you support ISOBUS?
- Not yet. A Universal Terminal implementation plus AEF conformance testing is 12 to 18 months of dedicated work and it is on our roadmap. We will not quote an ISOBUS machine in the meantime. If your project needs it, tell us the volume — that is what decides whether we bring the schedule forward.
- Which controller or I/O modules do you offer?
- They are in development and not orderable yet. They are listed on the products page as planned rather than hidden, so you can see the direction the platform is going without being offered something we cannot ship.
Compliance and documents
- Do you hold CE marking?
- Not yet for the export variants. The certifications page lists each directive and its true status — obtained or planned — with a symbol and a word, not just a colour. We will not display a certification mark we are not entitled to use, and the page says so.
- Our audit asks for IEC or ISO reports. Yours cite GB/T. Is that a problem?
- Often not. Every GB/T standard on our reports is a national adoption of an IEC or ISO parent — ISO 7637-2, ISO 10605, IEC 60529 and so on. The test methods are identical, and the reports can be re-issued against the international reference without repeating the test. The manufacturing page lists the parent standard for each. Tell us which one your audit requires.
- Will you sign our supplier quality agreement?
- Normally yes, including batch documentation commitments. Send it early rather than after the commercial terms are agreed — a quality annex that arrives late is how projects lose a quarter.
Commercial
- What is the minimum order quantity?
- Fifty units per model for a standard configuration. Sample units are available individually, and a custom enclosure or connector changes the picture — ask us with the project details.
- What is the lead time?
- Thirty days for standard models. Customised variants run 45 to 60 days depending on the change. Samples ship in about ten working days.
- Can we buy a private-label version?
- Yes. Enclosure silk-screen, nameplate, boot logo and packaging can all carry your brand, and we supply the compliance documentation under your label where the certification permits it. Ask for the ODM terms.
- Who is responsible for customs and duties?
- We quote FOB by default, so duties and import clearance are on your side. DAP is possible if you prefer one delivered price, and we will state clearly what is and is not included. Duty rates change; our quotes carry a duty-adjustment clause for that reason.
Working together
- Do you have distributors in Europe?
- We are appointing them now. If you are a dealer or integrator and want to carry the range, tell us which countries and which machine sectors you cover — we would rather have three serious partners than twenty listings. Distributor enquiry
- How fast do you answer?
- Within one working day, and you get a named contact rather than a shared inbox. During commissioning we answer within eight working hours and aim to have a diagnosis within 48.
- Do you keep spare parts?
- We are establishing a European spare-parts location. Until it is running, critical parts ship from China by express, and we will tell you the honest transit time for your country rather than a best case.
